Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly do you do?
The one everyone’s actually asking. To answer plainly: I help business owners align their marketing, sales, and operations — and find the gaps quietly costing them growth. Most businesses don’t have a marketing problem or a sales problem in isolation; they have a problem getting the two to talk to each other while operations carries the weight of both. I work in those seams: I figure out what’s actually slowing you down, name it plainly, and build the strategy and systems to fix it. Sometimes that’s brand and positioning, sometimes it’s a broken handoff between sales and fulfillment, sometimes it’s all of it at once. The through-line is always the same — making the whole business pull in one direction.
How do I know if I need this?
A few signs, and if two or more sound familiar, we should talk: you’re getting leads but they’re not converting the way they should. Your team can’t keep up when business is good, so growth creates chaos instead of momentum. Your marketing promises one thing and the actual client experience delivers another. You’re busy — maybe busier than ever — but it doesn’t feel like it’s translating into real growth. Or you simply know something’s off in how the pieces fit together, but you’re too close to it to see exactly where. That gap between effort and results is almost always living in the seams between departments. That’s the thing I find.
How do we work together?
It starts with a conversation — no pitch, just understanding your business, your goals, and where things actually stand. From there I assess where the real gaps are (often not where people expect), and we build a plan: the strategy itself, plus the systems and structure to make it hold. Engagements are scoped to the work, not billed by the hour — usually a defined project, a retainer, or a blend, depending on what you need. You’ll always know what we’re working toward and how we’ll know it’s working. I’m hands-on, not hand-it-off; I don’t deliver a deck and disappear.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
Owners who are ready to grow on purpose — across B2B and B2C, product and service. I’m not boxed into one industry, and that’s intentional: the gaps between marketing, sales, and operations show up the same way whether you’re running a service company, a product brand, or something in between. What my clients have in common isn’t a sector — it’s an owner who knows their business could be running better and wants a clear-eyed partner to help them get there.
What’s the investment?
Every engagement is scoped to the business in front of me, so there’s no flat menu — but I’ll always be straightforward about it. We start with a conversation about your goals and whether we’re a fit, and from there I scope the work transparently so you know exactly what you’re investing in and what it’s meant to return. My work is built to pay for itself — to bring back more than it costs in growth, efficiency, and clarity. If we’re not the right fit, I’ll tell you that too.
What makes you different?
Most growth advisors have never carried the weight of delivering the results they recommend. I have — as a Director of Business Development and Brand Growth, I built the partnerships, ran the campaigns, and lived in the operations underneath them, all at once. I don’t hand you a strategy and walk away; I find what’s actually breaking and build the thing that fixes it, because that’s the job I’ve already done.
